Tuition and Fees

Tuition and fees are subject to change without notice. Funds for personal expenses (e.g., food, supplies, etc.) are not included. E-books are included (upon availability) in degree program tuition.
This tuition and fee structure is effective as of Fall 2016.

Museum Trips

A Day at the Museum class payment and registration deadline
The payment and registration deadline is one business day before the first day of classes.
Note: Student will not be permitted to register or make a payment on the same day of class.
A Day at the Museum class deferral
After paying the course fee, the student may elect to defer his/her class up until one business day before the class for which s/he originally registered.
Note: A Day at the Museum classes can be deferred only with other museum classes.
Tuition for a Day at the Museum is non-refundable.
$20.00 Application fee is one time charge and is non-refundable.

 Other Non-Intensive ESL Courses

(Business English, Evening ESL & American Language and Culture):

Non intensive ESL (Business English, Evening ESL & American Language and Culture) payment and registration deadline:
The payment and registration deadline is one business day before the first day of classes.
Example: If the first day of class is Monday, December 12, tuition may be paid until Friday, December 9.
Non intensive ESL (Business English, Evening ESL & American Language and Culture) refunds:
Refunds will be granted up to three business days before the first day of classes; after this time, no refunds will be granted. Students will, however, be permitted to defer/change to another course until one business day after the first day of class (see below). 
Example:: If the course starts on Monday, December 12 and tuition was paid on or before Wednesday, December 7, the student is eligible for a tuition refund. If tuition was paid on and after Thursday, December 8, the student is not eligible for a tuition refund but will be permitted to defer/change to another course until one business day after the first day of class (see below).
Non intensive ESL (Business English, Evening ESL & American Language and Culture) course deferral/change:
The student may defer/change to another course up to one business day after the first day of the course for which s/he originally registered. Students wishing to defer/change course should coordinate with the Accounting Office during regular business hours to do so. .
Example: If the first day of class is Monday, December 12, the student has the option to defer/change to another course until Tuesday, December 13.

Fees

Some fees are mandatory and due at the time of application or enrollment. There are also service fees charged as necessary as the student progresses through his or her program of study or as required upon the student's request. All fees are non-refundable.

*Students who withdraw from and return to the university must pay the $150.00 application fee upon re-application. Alumni who return to university within a year of graduation will have their application fee waived.

Students should calculate and bring extra funds for these expenses based upon their individual projected needs.

Textbooks Textbooks expenses are not always included in tuition. All students must obtain the necessary books before the course add/drop period ends. Degree program students may spend an average of $100.00 per class for which textbooks are not provided.
