“President Dr. Sarac is an excellent visionary and entrepreneur who is fully committed to the mission and vision of VIU. One of my best memories would be when we went through reaccreditation audit visit. It was a time the whole VIU staff came together as a perfect team and was able to accomplish the goal, while learning a lot from it. I was so proud of all of us.” – Badamsukh Yadamsuren, Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs
“For me, VIU represents the hope that people from around the world who represent a great diversity of races, languages, religions, and cultures can live and work together. I see VIU as a small but vital part of an effort to promote multicultural understanding and cooperation in a world where these values are often lacking.” – John Bennett, Associate Vice President of Learning Services
“I had the opportunity to see VIU during the earlier years. The university was started by a handful of passionate people who put in countless hours every day. From there to now VIU has changed a lot but the passion of people remains the same. I have been working at VIU for over 7 years and I am very proud to be a part of something that helps thousands of bright individuals from all around the globe to reach their full potential.” – Idris Ulas, Marketing Director
“ Dr. Sarac believes that we should not simply be satisfied with what we have now, but need to continuously motivate ourselves to improve for the future.” – Yoko Gursen, Registrar

“ Dr. Sarac is a man who is driven by success. He is a visionary and a leader for many to follow. He sets goals with determination and passion. My best memories at VIU are centered on VIU’s graduation ceremonies. I love graduation because it is one of the only times throughout the year that all the students and staff gather in one place. It is a time of celebration and reflection on the past year’s accomplishments, not just of the students, but VIU as a whole.” – Hilary Kozokowski, Communications Coordinator
“Due to VIU’s affordable tuition, many people around the world have been given the opportunity to pursue their educational dreams, thanks to the initiative and effort from its president.” – Lizbeth Del Giudice, International Student Advisor
